Effective: August 2026
Dag collects no personal data. There is no account, no advertising, no tracking and no third-party analytics. The developer operates no servers and has no access to your content.
Your events, tasks and notes are stored exclusively on your device. If you enable iCloud sync, they are additionally stored in your personal iCloud (Apple CloudKit), protected by your Apple account. Apple's privacy policy applies to this processing.
If you create a Dag group, shared entries are transferred via iCloud to the people you invite. You control in the app which areas you share, and you can mark individual entries as private – private entries never leave your device or your iCloud towards the group.
Reminders for events and tasks are scheduled locally on your device. Notifications about changes by other group members are delivered through Apple's push service; Apple processes the device tokens required for this.
Dag only asks for permissions a feature directly needs: notifications (reminders), calendar access (read-only display of your iPhone calendars) and Face ID/Touch ID (optional app lock, verified entirely on device).
